Action Required: Brand Portal 2.0
Your ShopDot Brand Portal has been upgraded with a cleaner interface, simpler navigation, and smarter tools to help you manage products, orders, and business terms more effectively.
What You Need to Do
The upgrade includes new and updated fields that require your attention:
Log in to your ShopDot Brand Portal.
Review and complete your Business Terms in Settings.
Check your Products Tab to confirm categories, commission %, and product statuses are correct.
Verify product data and terms so Sellers always see accurate, transparent information.
Business Terms:
We’ve added a new section under Settings > Business Terms with fields that must be reviewed:
Default Commission % – commission % is now applied on the product level. You’ll be able to alter the commission per product in the Products tab.
Inventory Rules → Safety Stock – set a minimum stock buffer (defaults to 1 unit) to prevent overselling.
Shipping Policies → Days to Ship – update your fulfillment time.
Returns & Refunds – select your return/refund policy.
Samples → Sample Availability – mark “Yes” if you offer samples to Sellers.
👉 Action Needed: Log in and go to Settings > Business Terms to review and complete your details. Related resource: Business Terms
Products:
The Products Tab has been redesigned to make inventory and product management easier, with expanded tools for better control:
Status Tabs → Published, Unpublished, Disconnected, All – quickly view products by status for easier management.
Product Classification – expanded categories, animal type, and product features for better organization and discovery.
Commission % – you can customize commission % by product under Product Details.
👉 Action Needed: Log in and review your Products to confirm categories, animal type, product features, and commission rates. Related resource: Product Management
NOTE: The Seller Portal is paused until mid-October for the 2.0 release. During this time, new sellers cannot add products. The upgrade will deliver stronger collaboration, streamlined workflows, and easier product discovery. More info to come.
